How To be Happy

Note: I wrote this article first for my hubpages .But with little bit alteration I thought to add it here, because this detailed discussion would help you to create some beautiful poetry based on this.If you want to see my original article go to How Can I Be Happy

How to be happy with myself and others around me is the question lots of people are asking these days,This is specially due to the fact that we are living in a very complex society today, and chances are much to how not to be happy, than how to be.

First thing you have to understand is that you are living a comparatively good life than many others in the world today, You are not unhappy because you are hungry, starving for days, or because you there is no one to care about you, because you don't have a shelter and you sleep on the pavement in the winter, because you can't feed your kids as you are too poor....well as you see there are many. Are you unhappy because any of the above reasons? Honestly for many of you it isn't.No for the ones searching Internet and desperately reading articles about how to be happy. Truly suffering, truly unfortunate people live out their in the chilling winter in the streets, in parts of Africa, Asia, begging for something to eat, not because you should definitely eat something for breakfast, then to the lunch and dinner, but because they like to live another day at least, because they haven't been eating for two or three days, they are not dieting like many of you, they do because they are so poor to afford any food.

Do you know UN Reports claim that about 25000 people die every day of hunger and hunger related issues? Perhaps this may feel very strange to you, but do you know that they are willing to be  paid with food and water for for building community buildings, schools, digging deep wells, all in the scorching sun, under more than 40 degrees Celsius? Strange isn't it? That's how the world you live on revolves, not fair to many.Yet the irony of it is, that many of you reading this piece of information, sitting  comfortably, having fed you properly, dressed nicely, worry about how to be happy. Now compared to the situation of many other human beings in this world quoted above, what is your situation? Honestly should you be the ones worrying about how to be happy?

Disappointed? Wanted to hear some tips like Define the meaning of Success, Surround Yourself with Successful people, Go spend a vacation in an island,Get a perfect diet, Go jacuzzi....shortly things you already know and have read thousands of times? Was your happiness consistent? This discussion is with a humanitarian eye, rather than about spending your fortune, so if you are interested, and have a feeling about other human beings go read on. I am not sure but, I think, if you are a human being, you will compare your life with the lives of 3 billion people living on less than 2.50 $ a day, and gain a happiness with lots of concern for those who suffer, at the end of our discussion.

1. Out Of about 2.2 billion children in this world nearly 121 million children are out of education, 640 million without adequate shelter, every year 15 million children die out of hunger. Now think for a while about your children. How much fortunate they are? How much capable you are to protect them.Above things are less than a nightmare to the world of many of you, but still you are the ones asking how to be happy.Sarcastic, isn't it?

2.Water
About 1.1 billion people in developing countries have limited access to water. This may be quite hard for you to understand, because you are asking how to be happy, but people in many south Asian countries, walk miles to fetch a single pot of portable water. They don't have cars, taxi-es, no mean of transportation save their own feet. They don't have leather shoes, slippers, nothing. With bare feet, they walk along gravel roads, carrying an empty pot and a bucket, for miles to find and fetch some dirty water. It is a struggle for survival, not a simple question about how to be happy. In the united kingdom an average person use more than 50 L for flushing toilets.

3. In South Asia more than 700 million people live without electricity. They complete most of the basic tasks by the day time, and would light few hours with a kerosene oil lamp ( candles are too expensive for them) and goto bed very early, because they have to save their kerosene. TV, Computers, Smart Phones, are never heard of. Hey, no they are not at an early stage of revolution, they are like you, but still served differently.

This is it.Our detailed discussion! So now you have gathered, facts and thats the most important thing.Make this a good prompt, and based on it create your own poetry. When you have done, post them in the comments section.Thank you.
